Velocity is a two-knuckle ‘T-Hinge’ from greenteQ designed for rebated doors with a sash upstand dimension between 16 – 24mm, so is ideal for PVCu single and double doors.
The hinge is supplied in fabricator-friendly packaging in two parts. Simply pair the correct size hinge body (16, 19 or 22mm) with the correct sash part (0, +1mm or +2mm) to reach the desired sash upstand dimension.
The frame bearing and fixing block, the hinge pin, fixings, and top and bottom Q-branded cover caps are all included with the hinge body kit while the sash components, including the Sash Plate are included in the sash component kit.
Velocity will carry sashes weighing up to 100KG and gives full 3D adjustability for the installer and can open to a full 180°.
+/- 4mm lateral, +4/-1mm height and +/- 0.75mm compression adjustments are all carried out with a 5mm hex key.
As the sash components are already assembled, it means Velocity is extremely quick to fit and is also part of the greenteQ suite of finishes with our 20 year surface guarantee.
Velocity has been independently tested to PAS24:2022, and is approved for use on Document Q installations as well as being Secured by Design Police Preferred Specification
