The greenteQ Safeguard Window Restrictor restricts the maximum opening angle of windows to prevent falls from height.
The strong 160mm cable links the sash and frame components together to restrict the opening. It is recommended to fit the sash and frame units side by side but if these components are offset this will reduce the permitted opening.
The æTamper ResistantÆ option is permanently fixed in place. It can be released using a screwdriver when it is necessary to open the window fully (for maintenance reasons, for example).
Safeguard is available in black and white finishes and is suitable for fixing to inward and outward opening windows of all materials. It is supplied with self-drilling screws for aluminium, steel and reinforced PVCu profiles. If the restrictor is to be fitted to another material, the appropriate fixings should be sourced separately.
