The greenteQ Safeguard Window Restrictor restricts the maximum opening angle of windows to prevent falls from height.
The strong 160mm cable links the sash and frame components together to restrict the opening. It is recommended to fit the sash and frame units side by side but if these components are offset this will reduce the permitted opening.
The æKey to ReleaseÆ version can be disengaged by turning a key to release one end of the cable.
Safeguard is available in black and white finishes and is suitable for fixing to inward and outward opening windows of all materials. It is supplied with self-drilling screws for aluminium, steel and reinforced PVCu profiles. If the restrictor is to be fitted to another material, the appropriate fixings should be sourced separately.
The æKey to ReleaseÆ variant requires a 2-handed operation to disengage the restrictor.
